- oversize garbage bin (furniture, treated wood, etc.)
- metal bin (appliances, etc.)
- single-stream recycling bins
The following items are not allowed: asphalt shingles, cement, chemical containers, dead animals, electronics (recyclable at SARCAN), freezers, fridges, grain, hazardous waste, house demolition and new house construction garbage, liquid domestic sewage, petroleum by-products, railway ties, tires, vehicles, and wire of any description.
New development (new house construction) - our landfill is not intended to accommodate large quantities of new house, condo, etc. construction garbage. This type of garbage will not be allowed. The Regina or Moose Jaw landfills are open longer hours to better accommodate these needs. Loraas bins are a good option as well.
